Toronto, ON (May 17, 2010)- Point Alliance’s ipoint.to Haiti Relief campaign, which supported the Canadian Red Cross’ Haiti program by donating funds each time ipoint.to was used, came to a close at the end of March. The campaign was a great success, thanks to the many participants from all over the world who visited ipoint.to during the months of February and March.
Donations were presented to the Canadian Red Cross at Point Alliance’s recent 6 in 60 Breakfast Session held on Wednesday, May 12th. Isabel Marcinak, a Canadian Red Cross volunteer who attended the event, accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.
Point Alliance Chief Information Officer, John Zarei is pleased with the campaign results. “The launch of ipoint.to offered us a great opportunity to have fun with the online tool while donating to a great cause,” Zarei explains. “We are more than happy to be contributing to the outstanding work the Canadian Red Cross has put in throughout the ongoing crisis.”
